“I will continue to expect that we will be fully funding our school as the courts have deemed necessary,” Rivera said. “The basic funding formula is still inequitable and the budget that was passed in June was not the one that would bring us into fully funded schools… so there is still a need to keep the pressure on when it comes to equitably funding our schools in a timely fashion.”
